Miracles Attest

DAY 17: #40DaysOfReflection on Christ Presence

And by so limiting the guidance
that you would accept,
you are unable to depend on miracles
to answer all your problems for you.
—ACIM (T-14.XI.8:6)

Carrying on from our joining on “conversion” I felt to stay with this question:

What would it take for you to be desperate?
—Lonnie, Jesus Revolution (my Movie Review)

Desperate enough to wholeheartedly ask for help
And then gratefully Accept the comfort of The Answer?

Of what are you not convinced yet?
Innocence?

Ask truthfully…
Be not ashamed of your answer,
For pain exists only to insist there is another Way!

Don’t deny the doubt,
Expose it.

Doubt disguises
The miraculous nature
Of The Answer of which
You now enquire!

Doubt deludes us into maintaining
The strange belief
That we fear attaining
That we could never
Accept His Answer.

Cruel and unkind,
Naming and shaming
Past mistakes you think,
Will be blaming

The crushing consequences you imagine.
Of openly requesting
Help!

Thoughts of loss and sacrifice have entered?

Doubt denies
His tailor made responses,
Given now, intimately for one in
Genuine
Need

Clarify then your asking!

Desire only relief
And resolution
For the wretched
Humiliated one
Not the shining
Good example

For here The Answer
In stark simplicity
Easy to access,
And eternally fear free
Bespoke to fit the frame
In which you seem to sit.
A benevolent view point
Without threat!

The biggest secret that those who fear
To listen to sanity keep
Is the glad opening and laughter
Of incomprehensible relief!

Heaven is right here for you
Exactly as it is has always been
Perfect and replete.

Remember
When momentarily out of sight
Trust would restore this delight

For You Holy Child
Are worthiest of All
Because you Call.

Beloved,
Bleat,
Be Blest
Let Miracles
Attest!

To
Innocence

But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts:
and be ready always to give an answer
to every man that asketh you a reason
of the hope that is in you with meekness
—1 Peter 3:15 (King James Version)

Miracles are the instants of release
you offer, and will receive.

They attest to your willingness to be released,
and to offer time to the Holy Spirit for His use of it.

—ACIM (T-15.I.12:4-5)
