“Only then, when our full fear and the conditions that underpin it,
have been exposed in the mind and offered humbly to The Comforter,
can the armor of the ego turn to lotus blossoms.
Their soft scented petals floating on the breeze,
caressing our skin as they fall amongst us,
and shelter our feet from rough ground.”

Transcript PT. 3/3 Wisdom from the Weeds
When we stop the world and say we want to get off, we are truly acknowledging that we have a perceptual problem—because we are seeing the world and ourselves as other.
We are not seeing it as one system of reflection of a state of mind.
And once you become the enemy—of yourself—you cannot be your own rescuer. You must hand yourself over to a higher power to be Seen, and use the Light that is shed upon you to illuminate what is Whole and True.

“You cannot be your guide to miracles,
for it is you who made them necessary.”
—ACIM (T-14.XI.7:1)

In doing so, you have an eternal escape route, from all thoughts that could damage your awareness of the Christ presence, that you host. It will naturally demean and demoralize the egoic principles of the rescuer within yourself, which you have energized, time and time again, to help you survive.
This time you won’t choose survival.
This time in seemingly… from an egoic point of view choosing annihilation, you will instead find your Life and be free once more to live it.
Your Life in Christ is the only life that is given for you to live. All else is merely a turning and a twisting again and again, round after round of karmic resuscitation.
Allow the breath of that life to be extinguished.
And with the collapse of that lung, let the breath of the spirit enliven you once more so that you can truly live and breathe the spirit in every moment, and never again be deceived in your own power. For it is that self-reliance, that false ability, that clever quickness that tries to fix and finagle everything, that leaves you isolated, and alone, and struggling.
We sit here as Sidartha under the bodhi tree, with the slings and arrows of misfortune pronged and flying towards us.
And in the face of these disastrous consequences, we deny the lie that says: we know, we understand—what we are perceiving. And in that moment, as a small child, we acknowledge our helplessness in the situation as we now perceive it.
Only then when our full fear and its conditions that underpin it, have been exposed in the mind and offered humbly to the comforter, can the armor of the ego turn to lotus blossoms. Their soft scented petals floating on the breeze, caressing our skin as they fall amongst us, and shelter our feet from rough ground.
We become “The Lilly’s of the fFeld” and take no thought for the next moment. Now that we have discovered our Source once more, and are restored to the Kingdom in Aawareness—what other time, what other place could there be?

“The ego is the questioning aspect of the post-separation self, which was made rather than created. It is capable of asking questions but not of perceiving meaningful answers, because these would involve knowledge and cannot be perceived.
The mind is therefore confused, because only One-mindedness can be without confusion. A separated or divided mind _must_ be confused. It is necessarily uncertain about what it is. It has to be in conflict because it is out of accord with itself. This makes its aspects strangers to each other, and this is the essence of the fear-prone condition, in which attack is always possible.
You have every reason to feel afraid as you perceive yourself. This is why you cannot escape from fear until you realize that you did not and could not create yourself. You can never make your misperceptions true, and your creation is beyond your own error. That is why you must eventually choose to heal the separation.
Right-mindedness is not to be confused with the knowing mind, because it is applicable only to right perception.”
